Meet Louis Favela, a H.O.O.V.E.S. Alumnus and Mentor

“Hey everyone, I’m Louis Favela, a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, and I want to share how H.O.O.V.E.S. completely transformed my life. I first attended the Healing Intensive in July 2024, and it helped me rediscover who I am and what I bring to this world.

Before H.O.O.V.E.S., I was lost—confused personally, professionally, emotionally, and physically. I’m grateful to those who encouraged me to check it out, and I don’t know where I’d be today without that nudge. When I first arrived, I was hesitant, but the moment I stepped onto the grounds, something magical happened. It felt like my spirit and energy were finally free to heal.

Since then, I've gained so many tools that help me navigate every day, though it’s still a challenge. Some days are harder than others, but I constantly remind myself of my worth and that I am enough. That mindset, that support—I never would have reached it without H.O.O.V.E.S.

Now, I wake up looking forward to each day, knowing I have the tools to handle whatever comes my way. H.O.O.V.E.S. changed everything, and trust me, you must experience it for yourself to truly understand its impact.

In July 2025, I returned to H.O.O.V.E.S. as a mentor. After everything the program has given me, I’m excited to help others find their path to healing just like I did. It’s not just about giving back; it’s about continuing the cycle of support and growth that H.O.O.V.E.S. offers. I’m honored to be part of this journey again and can’t wait to see the changes it will bring for those who participated.”
