This little heifer, Pumpkin Spice, belongs to our granddaughter Brooklyn, who's now in the 6th grade. Brooklyn began building her herd just last year. She keeps detailed records of her expenses, and at the end of the year, she sells her steers while holding back her heifers. The proceeds from selling her calves go toward paying off her debts and covering her operating costs. This year, she was able to buy more heifers to expand her herd. Brooklyn was excited to see Dolly and “Pumpkin” Spice on the label.
